The second phase of works to our Barnstaple Central car park will see the Bear Street side of the car park closed from Thursday, 2 January 2025.

These works include a new entrance to the car park from Alexandra Road, as well as tree planting, the laying of coloured asphalt for pedestrian walkways, and permanent signage.

Vehicles can still access the car park from Bear Street, and businesses who back on to the perimeter of the car park will have their access maintained. Pedestrian access to the town centre remains available via Queen’s Walk.

The works are set to be complete in Spring 2025.

Windows Feature Update 24H2 has been causing more problems than usual updates. At this time I recommend sticking with 23H2 as the risk is not worth it until 25H2 comes out.
