Barnsley Hospital Workforce Development and Student Support

We are delighted to share some amazing news — 7 members of our midwifery team have been nominated for the Sheffield Hallam University Outstanding Midwifery Awards (SHOMA)! This event celebrates their hard work, dedication, and the positive difference they have made to SHU students whilst on placement here at Barnsley. It is also a reflection of the supportive leadership and culture they help to foster.
We want to thank all of the students who have nominated our staff and recognising their efforts in ensuring a positive learning environment for yourselves.
Our midwives and maternity support worker will join the rest of the nominees from across the region at the ceremony today where the winners will be revealed.
