Across the UK, there are thousands of incredibly talented young drivers with the passion, commitment and determination to succeed.
But for many, the biggest obstacle isn't talent—it's funding.
As the cost of living continues to rise, more and more hardworking families are being priced out of opportunities that should be based on ability, not the size of a bank account.
Behind every young driver is a family making sacrifices just to keep the dream alive. They're not expecting handouts—they just need support, opportunities, and people who believe in them.
Every sponsor, every share, every conversation, and every bit of support can help keep another talented driver on the grid.
Because the next champion shouldn't miss out simply because they couldn't afford the journey.
Shout out to the families who are pushing to keep going and making sacrifices to keep their driver on the track where they belong! 💙

🏁 TRUE vs FALSE: Life as a 9-Year-Old Racing Driver 🏎️
You hear a lot of assumptions about young drivers, so let's go through some of what parents hear.. and the answers from our perspective.
❌ FALSE: His parents pushed him into racing.
✅ TRUE: At just 6 years old, he came to us and said he wanted to be a racing driver because football just wasn't for him like it was for his friends. It was his dream from the very beginning—we simply support it.
---
❌ FALSE: Racing takes over his entire childhood.
✅ TRUE: He still goes to school every day, spends time with his friends in our village, goes to birthday parties, plays, laughs, and enjoys being a normal 9-year-old. Racing is a huge part of his life, but it doesn't define every moment. We believe in balance—time at the track and time just being a kid.
---
❌ FALSE: He's under constant pressure to win.
✅ TRUE: Our biggest focus isn't trophies—it's learning, improving, and enjoying the journey. Every race is another opportunity to grow, whether he finishes first or last.
---
❌ FALSE: If he doesn't become a Formula 1 driver, it's all been a waste.
✅ TRUE: Racing teaches so much more than driving. Confidence, discipline, resilience, teamwork, communication, respect, handling pressure, and learning how to bounce back after setbacks—those are life skills that will stay with him forever. Not everyone wants to be an F1 driver.
---
❌ FALSE: Kids this young shouldn't have big dreams, they'll change their mind in a couple of years.
✅ TRUE: We believe every child deserves the chance to chase something they're passionate about. Whether that's football, dancing, music, gymnastics, or motorsport, supporting their dream is one of the best gifts we can give them.
---
At the end of the day, they are simply little kids with big dreams.
We're not trying to create the next champion overnight. We're helping him enjoy the journey, make memories, learn valuable life lessons, and have fun doing what he loves.
Because that's what childhood is all about. ❤️🏁

In a world full of Lightning McQueens, be a Mater.
Be a Mater because he never pretended to be anything other than himself.
He was rusty where others gleamed.
Awkward in rooms built for confidence.
The kind of soul the world too often overlooks.
Yet he was loyal without condition.
Kind without agenda.
Brave without needing applause.
He loved loudly, and showed up every single time.
The world celebrates speed, perfection, status, and success. It teaches us to chase the finish line, to hide our dents, and to sand away every flaw until we're acceptable.
But people don't necessarily remember who crossed the line first. They remember who stayed when everyone else left.
Your quirks don't make you less lovable.
Your imperfections don't make you less valuable.
Sometimes the best thing you can be is the person who reminds everyone that they don't have to earn respect and success by being perfect.
So if you're feeling a little rusty, a little out of place, or like life has left you with a few dents...
Be a Mater.

Things I noticed as a first-timer at the Grand Prix 🏎️🏁
1️⃣ **90% of people were absolutely lovely.**
Friendly, helpful and just there to enjoy the weekend. The other 10%? Well... they'll happily shove a child out of the way to get closer. 😅 (Yes, this actually happened. Two grown men pushed Harley off my shoulders at the fan forecourt so they could get their poster signed by Lando. Not exactly my favourite moment!)
2️⃣ **I definitely missed the memo that the Grand Prix doubles as a fashion show.** 😂
I was rocking shorts, a T-shirt, hair in a messy bun and my trusty trainers... while people were wandering around in immaculate WHITE designer trousers and heels! White!! I'm not judging... I'm just jealous I couldn't pull it off. 🤣
3️⃣ **You could come back every single year and still not see or do everything.**
As a seasoned Disney parks girl, I'd compare it to visiting Disney over and over again and still not managing to ride every ride or see every show. There's just so much going on!
4️⃣ **The atmosphere was incredible.**
Even with fans supporting different drivers and teams, everyone was so respectful. No aggro, no drama—just thousands of people sharing a love of motorsport and having an amazing time together. It was honestly refreshing.
Overall, what an experience. Already thinking about the next one... 💙🏎️
Anything I've missed? Fellow Grand Prix fans, what surprised you on your first visit?👇

They say you never forget your first F1 Grand Prix. But experiencing it for the first time together at 9, 31, and 38? Absolutely unmatched. 🥹🇬🇧
There is nothing on earth quite like the atmosphere of Silverstone. The smell of the rubber, the roar of the engines, and the chills from the home crowd cheering for Lewis.
To some people, this is just another weekend watching cars go around a track. But to a 9-year-old who lives and breathes racing, this was a dream come true.
Core memory from the weekend = Getting his hat signed by Andrea Kimi Antonelli
We have blisters, have walked over 25,000 steps each day and average walked 12 miles a day! But we'd do it again in a heartbeat, I will say general admission was a wild ride, wouldn't it be lovely if by this time next year we can grow these socials big enough to be invited into the paddock 😂 (hey there is nothing wrong with dreaming 👀)
Until next time Silverstone, you've been incredible 🏁💙
He says he's absolutely gobsmacked 😂
Annoyingly after mum stopped videoing he ran around jumped in the van and was eager to get going 🤷😂 I don't think it's fully clicked yet 💙🏁

"Your kid is spoiled."
Maybe.
He has opportunities most people only dream about.
He races go-karts.
He travels.
He gets experiences many adults spend their whole lives chasing.
And yes...
We're grateful we can give him those things.
But here's what matters most...
He knows.
He knows not every child gets these opportunities.
He says thank you.
He takes care of what he has.
He celebrates every lap, every trip, every memory because he knows none of it is guaranteed.
Being an only child doesn't mean growing up entitled.
It means growing up surrounded by love, while learning that privilege comes with responsibility.
The goal was never to raise a child who expects everything.
The goal is to raise a young man who appreciates everything.
Because life can change in a heartbeat.
So we'll keep making the memories.
We'll keep saying yes when we can.
We'll keep teaching gratitude just as much as ambition.
If that looks like "spoiled" from the outside...
We're okay with that.
Because we'd rather raise a grateful son with incredible memories than a child who never knew how lucky he was.
❤️🏁
