Been an exciting weekend! No crochet to show for it but I made Spiced Apple Jelly and Strawberry Jam on Friday.

Visited Waterstones Piccadilly London - Hatchards - Piccadilly and Forbidden Planet and got quite the book haul!!

Today is just as busy with Mushroom Chutney currently on my stove

Finished this little chap. I need to buy some more hoops to sort for giving them out at Christmas but that can wait. Onto the next one!

Made some mittens! Can you tell that blue is one of my favourite colours?

Spent my afternoon trying a new recipe!chocolate fudge oatmeal cookies from my Vegan Cookies book.

I am discussing doing a Macmillan coffee morning in October at the office and so I thought I ought to try the recipe out first.
I think they came out pretty good, they’re ready to be given to some friends for testing!

Got the project all gridded up and ready to go. I’ve settled in this afternoon to get going and watch the Wimbledon Mens Tennis Final.

One of my best friends is coming over soon and we are going to watch movies and cross stitch together!
