Are you a driver or a motorcyclist? We need your help to make Warwickshire’s roads safer this summer.
Last year, 75 motorcyclists were killed or seriously injured in Warwickshire. While motorcyclists make up a small proportion of road users, they account for almost a quarter of all people killed or seriously injured on the county’s roads.
Our research shows two key actions you can take to help reduce these collisions:
🚗 For drivers: at every junction and take an extra look before pulling out or turning. That extra look could save a life.
🏍️ For motorcyclists: Approach corners at a speed that allows you to stop within the distance you can see to be clear. Giving yourself time and space to react could prevent a serious collision.
Whether you're on four wheels or two, small changes can make a big difference. Let's all do our part to keep Warwickshire's roads safe this summer.

This week marks ASB awareness week, with a particular focus on Heritage Crime.
What is Heritage Crime I hear you ask?
Well, Heritage Crime steals from all of us. It harms our history and our communities. Our historic buildings, monuments, places of worship and archaeological sites tell the story of our communities. Once they are damaged, stolen from or destroyed, that history cannot be replaced.
Heritage Crime includes:
• Criminal damage and graffiti
• Theft of historic artefacts or materials
• Illegal metal detecting
• Unauthorised works to protected sites
• Damage to ancient monuments and listed buildings
This week The Alcester North SNT have been out in Henley-in-Arden on foot patrol keeping an eye on our ASB hotspots, including The Guild Hall following reports of individuals causing a nuisance in the gardens. The Guild Hall being one of our amazing Grade 2 listed heritage sites on our beat. We have also set up community events at Coughton Court talking to visitors and making them aware of Heritage Crime and how to report it. As voted by our communities, ASB is one of our local priorities so will endeavour to investigate all ASB reports and make it our primary focus.
How to report it to us:-
999 - In any emergency situation. Crime in progress, danger to life or property, violence or threat.
101 - Non emergency number.
Together, we can help preserve our history for future generations.
