These are the 5 most common tile mistakes we see people making and honestly, a couple of them might surprise you.
1. Choosing tiles from a screen - colours, textures, and scale all look completely different in real life. Always see them in person before you commit.
2. Going too small in a small bathroom - it feels counterintuitive, but smaller tiles in a small space can actually make it feel more cramped. Larger formats often work better.
3. Ignoring grout colour - this one catches people out every time. The wrong grout can completely change the look of a tile, for better or worse. Make sure to grab one of our SS26 brochures, we've matched them all for you!
4. Mixing too many patterns - one statement tile is a design choice. Three different patterns fighting for attention is a headache. Less is more.
5. Ordering exactly what you measure - always order at least 10% extra. Breakages, cuts, and future repairs will thank you for it.
