As 2025 draws to a close, we’re proud of the progress made at Secondsight and grateful to everyone who has contributed along the way.

The Secondsight team will be taking a well-earned break over the festive period.

From Wednesday 24th December at 5.00pm our offices will close for Christmas and reopen again in the New Year, on Friday 2nd January at 8.00am.

On behalf of the entire team, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We look forward to working with you in 2026, refreshed and energised.

Foster Denovo’s COO, Helen Lovett, took part in the panel at Corporate Adviser Master Trust and GPP Conference, where AI was firmly in the spotlight.

Industry leaders explored how AI could transform the way guidance and advice are delivered across pensions and workplace savings.

The discussion highlighted the potential of AI to increase access to affordable guidance and help providers to scale support more effectively. At the same time, they emphasised the need for strong safeguards and responsible use.

Helen shared her experience of launching Myadviceplace, a digital advice solution that is already available in the market. She explained that one of the biggest benefits of AI is its ability to reduce administrative costs, making face-to-face advice more affordable and accessible, particularly in the workplace through employer-supported solutions.

This morning, our Weybridge team came together for a breakfast, taking some time out to connect and reset for the rest of the week. Featuring a variety of freshly prepared pastries, fresh fruit and breakfast baps, it was the perfect opportunity to prioritise employee wellbeing and strengthen connections.

At Secondsight, we know that small mid week moments like these can make a difference in supporting engagement, motivation, and a positive workplace culture.

Many employees will put off writing a will, believing they can “sort it later.” Yet the reality is, none of us know when that time will come.

Having a will in place will cover important issues such as:
• Appointing a guardian for any children or dependants
• Deciding how to leave property
• Taking steps to protect unmarried partners or stepchildren
• Mitigating the amount of Inheritance Tax (IHT) applied to their estate

Alongside a will, a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is an essential part of later-life planning. While it may be difficult for employees to consider what happens after death, doing so can help provide them and their loved ones with peace of mind about the future.
