Foundation Pathways

Our Foundation Pathways students have been busy preparing for their very first Summer Fayre this week!💷🧾

As part of their Enterprise project, they've been practising their money skills, working out prices, handling transactions and preparing receipts to ensure they're ready to welcome customers on the day. 👏

These practical activities are a fantastic way to build confidence while developing valuable life skills in maths, communication and customer service. 🌟

We're all looking forward to seeing their hard work pay off at the Summer Fayre on Wednesday 15th July. We can't wait to welcome you! 💙

Preparations are well underway for our very first Foundation Pathways Summer Fayre! 🛒☀️

Today, our students headed out into the community to buy the ingredients and supplies for our £1 stall, which will be part of the Summer Fayre in the Sixth Form Courtyard on Wednesday 15th July. 🌼🍰

As part of their Enterprise project, students took on a budgeting challenge, working in pairs to independently choose, purchase and pay for their items, all while sticking to a £10 budget. It was a fantastic opportunity to put their maths and money management skills into practice in a real-life setting. 💷🧮👏

Despite the very warm weather, everyone worked incredibly hard and is excited to welcome visitors to our first-ever Summer Fayre. We're hoping it's a great success and the first of many to come! 🌟💙

We had a wonderful night, the band was amazing and looking forward to hearing all about their trip to Italy 🤩👏

It was fantastic to welcome them into our Sixth Form and give them the opportunity to experience life in Foundation Pathways. From taking part in practical activities to meeting our dedicated staff and current students, we hope you all had a brilliant morning. 😊

A special thank you to our current Pathways students, who were excellent ambassadors, sharing their experiences and helping everyone feel welcome throughout the session. 👏

🌱🎉 Our Foundation Pathways students had a fantastic first experience at the Schools Sustainability Conferences 2026 at Blackburn Rovers Community Trust!

Students proudly hosted their very own marketplace stall, showcasing and selling their enterprise products. Thanks to the amazing support from everyone who visited, they raised over £100 for the Foundation Pathways Enterprise Project! 👏💚

This was a huge success for our students and, we hope, the first of many similar events. A massive thank you to everyone who supported us—we couldn't have done it without you.

Our Foundation Pathways students have been busy developing their enterprise skills and raising money for their Enterprise Project!

They have created a range of handmade items for staff to purchase, including Garden Gift Sets containing a plant pot, soil and a packet of seeds 🪴🌻 They are also selling their colourful flower and alien keyrings 👽🌸

Well done to all of our Pathways students for their creativity, teamwork and entrepreneurial spirit! 👏
