Who doesn’t love Manchego cheese? However Spain has so many more delicious cheeses to discover.

The historic region of Castilla y León is the country’s largest producer of sheep’s cheeses. Here’s a few for you to try next time you’re in store:

LA ANTIGUA PICANTE … a fiery cheese aged for 4 months and spiced up with a blend of 4 different chillies including the super hot Reaper X

ZAMORANO DOP … with an almost fudge like aroma this jewel of a cheese is made with the milk from Churra and Castellana breeds of sheep

PATA DE MULO …. Los Payuelos have won Super Gold in the World Cheese Awards with this smooth and elegant cheese made in the Tierra de Campos

LA ANTIGUA CREMOSO … gooey and buttery, tangy and moreish. We love this “torta style” cheese baked and served with hunks of bread to dunk

We’ve been a bit quiet on here because we’ve been so busy so we’re taking this moment to thank you all for your support over the half term, we couldn’t do it without you all ! ⭐️✨

We have a few new cheeses on our counter and here’s a small cheese with a lot of character- brightwell ash 🐐
