Looks like we're back to single cards again, after a run of combinations. The message for today is to follow your heart (as long as what you've set your heart on is realistic), even if others don't understand and try to talk you out of it. Whatever you're drawn to, if you don't at least give it a go, you'll regret it later. If there's a job you like the look of and feel you have what it takes, then apply for it, if there's someone you fancy and they're single, ask them out for coffee, or if you feel drawn to the ocean and really want to explore what's beneath the waves, then do a PADI course. And if you have a positive recurring dream? Then take the first step, and act upon it. This Knight is about emotional fulfilment that comes from steady progress and not writing it off at the first hurdle. But first you have to start.....................

While today could be the start of long awaited opportunities presenting themselves, make sure you don't over-commit yourself to something and then find you can't deliver. This is especially important if you've already got enough on your plate and struggling to meet those obligations. You're going to have to be adaptable to whatever's thrown at you today, so make sure you've got your priorities covered now, while also keeping an eye on the bigger picture. The watch words for today are "adaptability" and "flexibility". They will do you some big favours in the overall scheme of things as the future unfolds.

Yet another combination, so here goes..............today we're asked to identify what needs to be "let go of" in our lives, to allow order to be restored. Expect conflict, chaos, and change brought on by disruption. Nothing on a massive life altering scale, these are, after all, Minor Arcana cards. Think "irritatingly problematic, but easily manageable" - if you're willing to deal with it. Accept help from others if it's offered to get matters resolved, and be open to mutual give and take. I'd be interested to see whether this resonates with anyone today :D

I don't know what's going on with these combinations coming out at the moment, but there's obviously someone out there who this will resonate with. Today we need to ask ourselves whether what we feel, is actually what's going on? The advice with this combination is to really have a look beneath the surface of something, before you make a decision, because chances are you don't have all the facts - and this will be important. Not everything is going to be what it first appears to be, and you could miss an opportunity by immediately writing it off. This combination isn't saying don't listen to your intuition, it's asking you to question your assumptions.

Yesterday the message was to trust your intuition. Today the message is repeated but there's more! Trust your gut and persevere. If you do, things will most definitely work out, and you'll be happier because of it. Sometimes we aren't sure which path to take, or know what's the right decision for us, but there will always be something deep down that's trying to point us in the right direction when our head and logic won't. Today we're asked to lean into our gut feelings and go with them, instead of letting fear or uncertainty decide for us.

Today's message is a short one. Don't ignore your intuition, even if you think what your gut is telling you is completely wrong or ridiculous! It is not a day for "thinking" or using logic when your gut is screaming something else entirely. When we "feel" instinctively, we're almost always right, it's only when we allow self-doubt to creep in and then talk ourselves out of it, that we then get it wrong.

Yesterday we had the Four of Swords on its own, and it has appeared again today (different deck) as part of a combination. The message today is take time to "recharge" those batteries of yours, and really think things over before you decide to work with others on something really important going forward. Taking the time to properly plan and scope out what it is you want to achieve is important for success, but if you're burnt out and not thinking clearly, then you're going to come undone before you've even started.

I used to work a 60-hour week, and when I did take time off for whatever reason, I still had to be contactable 24/7. I can remember being in hospital for a month, and the company I used to work for sending in my laptop so I could "keep on top of things if I was looking for something to do " (they'd never get away with it now)...........Working in a "pressure cooker" environment is not sustainable, and eventually, something has to give - in my case, it was my health. What I failed to see at the time was that taking time out and resting is actually productive, and goes a long way to protecting your energy. So, if your tasked with doing something this Thursday, and it's not actually part of your remit, or doesn't actually HAVE to be done today, gently push back. It will still be there tomorrow, and tomorrow is another day. Concentrate on what your body and mind is telling you right now, and give yourself permission to take a (much needed) break.

This is a welcomed card of peace following the storm caused by the appearance yesterday's Tower. The Four of Wands is indicative of sturdy and solid foundations being laid now, for future success. Surround yourself with your supporters, celebrate the "wins" no matter how small, and look forward to a new chapter coming soon in the "Book of Life"! This is a period of transition and transformation, so embrace it with an open heart.

When this card comes out expect a sudden change, one that you have no control over. It can bring what's initially perceived as chaos, destruction, or confusion, but in reality, all that's actually happening is the dismantling of an old structure or belief pattern that's no longer doing you any favours. This change will force you to take a different direction, and while you'll probably feel (very) uncomfortable, it's important to remember this is happening FOR you, and not TO you. The best way to navigate a path through this, is to allow whatever is ending, or falling apart, to end or fall. Sometimes the biggest healing begins with being honest with yourself about what isn't working anymore.
