All Dogs Go To Erinn

We had a blast at The Puppy Social Club today!
7 puppies, 2 groups, 76 toys (guesstimate) and a private field - it was perfect 😁🐾🙏🥳
If you missed out, I will be running more of these, so keep an eye out for the next one!
Why redirecting your puppy biting onto a toy is not always the best solution

Have a *spicy* dog and no idea where to start?
Dog-to-dog reactivity is incredibly hard to tackle on your own.
The 6am walks to avoid everyone.
Spending a fortune on secure fields… only for your dog to refuse to leave the house.
Chasing your dog around the kitchen table just to get their harness on.
I've heard it all.
It doesn't have to be this way.
I know how hard it is because I've been there too. I went through the trial and error, so you don't have to.
Imagine going for a walk without constantly scanning the horizon. Feeling calmer, more confident, and actually enjoying time with your dog again.
If you're ready to stop dreading walks and start looking forward to them, I'd love to welcome you into my **Step Into Calm** programme.

We've been coming down to King's Pavilion at Aberdeen Uni every morning and watching the graduation to a background of bagpipes.

I laughed at this when I first read it and then my dog behaviourist brain kicked into gear.
I get a lot of dog who are anxious about car trips and more often than not it's because the car predicts something wonderful (trip to the park) or something horrendous (vet visit).
One simple way of telling your dog which is which is to use different equipment on them. Maybe they have a special harness that only goes on when they're being taken to the vets. Or, if they wear a muzzle at the vets, the muzzle can be worn in the car so they know what's coming. Or, it could even be just a bandana that goes on when it's time for their annual check up.
We can help bring clarity and predictability to our dogs life. We just need to think outside the box a little.
How do you help your dog out when it's time to see their vet? I'd love to know your secret ways of helping your dog relax a little more!
