A quick update from the New Zealand planning desk.

We’ve had a slight shuffle in the roster for our upcoming Comprehensive Guide Course (CGC) in mid-February.

Two candidates have had to withdraw, which means two unexpected spots have just opened up. Usually, by this time of year, the February squad is locked in and prepping. But for two people, this is a pretty unique timing window.

Training in Feb means you are field-ready just in time for the upcoming Arctic summer or the Kimberley season. It also gives you a massive head start on building your experience and CV before the recruitment drives really heat up for the Antarctic 26/27 season.

It’s a fast turnaround, but if you’ve been looking for a way to break into the industry (or upgrade your skills) without waiting another year, the door just cracked open.
