Camo Collection No.21 - German Flecktarn

Introduced in 1989, German Flecktarn would become one of the most popular surplus camos in Europe.

German Flecktarn is one of my longstanding favourites. Not only does it perform incredibly well in dense woodland and muddy fields, but the material that Bundeswehr kit is often made of is as hard wearing as it is comfortable.

Still issued today, though, due to be replaced by MultiTarn, Flecktarn is an effective camo that has been copied and adapted by multiple different countries and has found its way into the backpacks of bushcrafters and outdoorsmen alike.
