Today, on Mother’s Day, I’m thinking about this little girl.

The one in these photos.
The one who didn’t always feel loved, seen, understood, or protected in the ways she deserved.
The one who carried big feelings in a small body.

Before I was a mother.
Before I built a business.
Before I became the woman who helps other women feel beautiful and confident…

I was her.

I firmly believe that a huge part of healing as an adult is learning to go back and meet your inner child with the love, patience, and protection they needed back then. To sit with her. To listen to her. To remind her that she matters.

For many of us who are mothers, this work is even deeper. Because when we heal ourselves, we don’t just change our own lives - we change the emotional blueprint our children grow up with.

We break cycles.
We soften the things that once hardened us.
We create the safety we may have felt we didn't have.

And slowly, the little girl inside us learns something she may not have known before:

That she is loved.
That she is safe.
That she grew up to become the protector she always needed.
That she is so proud of who she has become!

Happy Mother’s Day to every mum…
and to the little girl inside every one of us who deserved the world.
