Round 12 in Shanghai brought heat, rain threats, Pit Boost strategy and a race that changed direction lap by lap. Through the chaos, JEV delivered a hard-fought P6 and important points for the team, while Nick’s race was compromised by the timing of the Safety Car.

A strategic opener. A dramatic platform. One more race to go.

Our Friday started with a dry track walk, a visit from our Chinese market team, and a strong first run on track in Free Practice 1. Then came the grey skies, the first drops of rain, and a post-session thunderstorm that felt like a little preview of what Shanghai might have waiting for us this weekend.

With the weather already reshuffling tomorrow’s schedule, race day is arriving earlier than expected and with it, plenty of unknowns.

Strong pace, dramatic skies, two races ahead.
