FOLKA earweight ✨

These earweights, titled “FOLKA,” were designed as a true talisman. The central motif draws inspiration from two emblematic symbols of Alsatian art:
• the arabesque, with its delicate organic curves
• the curula chair, an ancestral form associated with authority, protection, and prestige.

By combining them, I reinterpreted these elements into a mandala — or cross-like — composition, creating a harmonious, balanced, almost incantatory figure.

The chosen stones amethyst and white quartz echo the Alsatian basin, where they naturally occur.
Amethyst, known for soothing the mind and clarifying thoughts, pairs beautifully with the luminous purity of white quartz, a symbol of harmony and energy.

Wearing these earweights means carrying with you a piece of tradition, nature, and protection… a small fragment of Alsace, reinvented.
