Gi**lo Records is my kind of "madeleine de Proust". Back when I was a teenager mixing powerful techno on 3 turntables, I discovered International Deejay Gi**lo in the early 2000s, with its uninhibited sound and glam identity (which would later be called "electroclash"). The label was putting out a bunch of records that had a huge impact on me:

• Miss Kittin & THE HACKER "First Album"
• Tiga & Zyntherius "Sunglasses at Night"
• Fischerspooner "Emerge"
• Zombie Nation "Kernkraft 400"
• Dopplereffekt "Gesamtkunstwerk"
• Japanese Telecom "Virtual Geisha"
• Justice & Simian "Never Be Alone"
• Play Paul "La La Land"
• David Carretta "Domination EP"
• Foremost Poets "Moonraker"
• The Advent "Time Trap Technik"
• DJ Hell "Teufelswerk"

There were also Dave Clarke, Anthony Rother, Jeff Mills, Boys Noize, and many more.

These releases include some tracks that, in my opinion, belong in the pantheon of electronic music history. I still own most of them on vinyl.

It was a true turning point in the evolution of this music. Many of these artists are now key figures in the electro scene, and personal mentors to me. I've had the chance to work with some of them, and a few have even become friends.

Today, I'm incredibly proud to announce that I'm joining Gi**lo with a full 12-track album, coming this summer ❤
