Fire at me is a song about a fire-breathing baby dragon.
David Paycha sent me the idea for the music and I wrote the song I needed to hear in those chaotic first few months (/years😅) of motherhood, which felt like constantly putting out little fires around me. Equal parts wonderful and horrifying. I literally took a break from recording this song to pump breast milk in the Studio Sextan bathroom. 💅
It turned into the first single from my EP ‘Mother of Pearl’, out 12 June!
