Today we celebrate my dad’s life. He was such an example of doing, giving, and loving. For his 85th birthday I did some calculations- his life “by the numbers” here I share some updates
• 89 years of life (would have been 90 in August)
• 64 years of marriage
• Oldest of 5, lost his dad at age 10 (just before his 11th birthday)
• 8 kids
• served 2 LDS missions to Denmark (where 7 of his 8 grandparents were from)
• 19 years of cooking at girls camp
• thousands of Dutch oven dinners
• 46 people who have lived with them.
He was still making things to give away just weeks before he died.
• 1 Amazing life.
