Quoi de mieux que de la musique live lors de la fête de la musique ? Danser sur de la musique live, bien sûr !

Notre bal de fin d’année a attiré plus de 60 personnes dans la magnifique Église Américaine de Paris, le temps d’une soirée extraordinaire.

Un très grand merci à .johnstone.148 d’avoir traversé le Royaume-Uni et la Manche pour nous faire vibrer au piano sur des reels endiablés et des strathspeys envoûtants. Le Paris Band souhaite tout particulièrement remercier Muriel pour ses précieux conseils lors de la masterclass de piano, pour sa bienveillance et sa générosité.

Merci au Paris Band pour la musique exceptionnelle qu’ils nous offrent à chaque bal parisien.

Merci à nos invités internationaux de faire vivre la danse écossaise à travers les continents.

Et enfin, bien sûr, merci à toutes et à tous pour votre participation à notre bal de fin d’année !

Nous reprendrons nos cours habituels du lundi à la rentrée de septembre, après la pause d’été qui suivra notre dernière séance du 30 juin. ☀

What could be better than live music for the fête de la musique? Dancing to live music, of course!

Our end-of-year ball drew over 60 people to the magnificent American Church in Paris for an extraordinary evening.

Many thanks to Muriel Johnstone for crossing the UK and the Channel to thrill us on the piano with her frenzied reels and spellbinding strathspeys. The Paris Band would especially like to thank Muriel for her invaluable advice during the piano masterclass, and for her kindness and generosity.

Thank you to the Paris Band for the exceptional music they bring to every Parisian ball.

Thanks to our international guests for bringing Scottish dance to life across the continents.

And last but not least, thank you all for your participation in our end-of-year ball!

We'll be resuming our regular Monday classes in September, after the Summer break following our last session on June 30. ☀
