A meaningful day of team building in the Castro 🌈

Our walking tour gave us the chance to learn more about the neighborhood’s rich history, the people who shaped it, and the leaders whose influence helped define not only the Castro, but San Francisco as a whole.

🌟Employee of the Month: Seiji Fouquet (he/him)

⚙️ As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, he works on a platform handling millions of requests per second, where he’s experienced a great mix of hard technical challenges and great people. “There’s always something interesting to solve, and the team spirit makes it a genuinely enjoyable place to be,” he shares.

💬 “I replaced a bottlenecked distributed database that stored billion real-time counters—helping benchmark different solutions and then leading the deployment, all without downtime. Getting that over the line cleanly was really satisfying.”

🔥 He’s motivated by the constant challenge of building reliable systems: “I hope to create platforms people can rely on without even thinking about them—when everything just works, that’s the goal.”

❤️ What he enjoys most? “The colleagues. There’s a really good spirit at Adikteev, and I’ve made some good friends along the way.”

🚴 Fun fact: He’s been an on-and-off bicycle enthusiast for as long as he can remember— he hopes he’s currently in an “on” period!
