When we finished the last of Malachie final small the prophet📚 we discussed much about the book of Life🧐📖. There is👥 mention of those who gathered together to📖 discuss the word out of fear of God and they will recieve the🔊 righteousness💯 in the coming day of the Lord. "Sun 🌞of righteousness" was used to symbolize what that day means as they ponder what to do in the 👏meantime as long as they live; 1️⃣Remember My word +2️⃣ Live for Me! They'll be saved and receive healing while those who don't and have no👀 fear of God will receive 💥destruction that day. Personal application for this passage is to continue to try and try again to 🫡follow christ as He is the one who changes the hearts of 👨‍👦‍👦father to children and children to the father.

🧐📖Malachi 2:17-3:6 We contiued our studies to find God talking about their concerns ☝️👥of God's justice. Judah has often critizes whether God is being juste seeing that 🕵️‍♂️evil doers prosper in their time yet while they (judah) have knowingly comitted 👣abominations before God's eyes. God warns us that they have mistankly relied on 👓appearences and that's why He is sending the messenger(John) to prepare the way for Jesus who will 📚first come to save and then ⏰second time to Judge🔥. We see how this relates back to the constant cycle of the Old Testament of how the people stumble then God sends a prophet which they kill💀 because they aren't 👎pleased by God's judgement and finally they repent after⏱ being under the weight of God's 👀unchanging Justice. We found personal application in leaving justice to God even when it concerns modern trouble📊 and 📰confusion today. God saying "I wouldn't want anyone to 🤔perish" then later "I never change🔁" is reassuring and motivating to look past appearences.

Malachi📖 2:1-12 the majority🧐 of this part is again addressed to the priest who are responible and will receive the 🎯rebuke for the damaged relationship💔 with God. 👀Animals will be on their face, God will curse their blessing but He will still 🔄keep the covenant as shown throughout the📚 old testament. Even when the house of Levi Priests have failed to be knowledgable, and have truth in their 👅mouths to be messengers or ambassadors for Him. Even today we should seek to treat God as a 🤫👑king who is to be feared when it comes to how He wants/wills things. We've been made into holy priesthood and thus ought to have a🙏 willful desire to give God's message in its fullest via our way of🏃 life.

Last week we continued 👍📖our study of Malachi through the end of Ch1. God🧐 has addressed this mostly to the ✍️priests for they are responsible for teaching the 📌law from Moses and offering sacrifices which they’ve not been adhering to God's instructions👀. God had been displeased that they were offering sick, lame, or even blind animals on the altar and it shows a lack of respect. The fear of God is not🤔 in them to reject what makes them comfortable and to take His instructions🔎📋 serious. This goes along with other passages in the Bible like 1st Timothy 1:15, Luke 18 and others specifically warning us not to perceive obedience as a burden. Personal application again to observe our 🫵🫵posture/heart as we worship and learn to do what the Lord🎁 loves.

We studied The context around Malachi 📚the prophet and saw how God 🫶has over the centuries shown much love and grace to the children of Israel. That He loved them first and chosen them to be distinguished even following Babylon exile. They come to think to themselves where is God🤔? Israel has went back to practicing social injustice and idolatry which is why He’s sent His Last prophet Malachi 'His Messenger'🤓 in Hebrew. He proposes to the people that God had no interest in what they’ve done from beginning but just showed undeserved🪗 grace to the people. This is proven throughout the Bible in Genesis when He loved Jacob and hated Esau all the way to Revelations where all salvation belongs to God. It’s best as followers to take this humble posture, see we had no notable CV nothing and we were saved by Grace through faith in Christ.

Last week we studied 📖Haggai the end👀 of chapter 1 where the remnant🤲 has seized the moment 🏃and obeyed the voice of God👂. The text shows how if they follow God's📜 instructions even in the midst of opposition 🥵🏹and hardships He will be there with them 👍forever. Like many other prophets God's word will not comeback empty🌳 Isiah 55:10-11, which confirms Haggai is a🧐 true prophet. We talked about how however we may suffer we must'nt lose🧐 sight that God is doing all things and has given us each a role🎬 to bring glory💯 to His name. The temple again today relates to our lives👥, our bodies which Yahwei Himself wants📓 build🔧🗃 if we do it His way and seize the moment when He instructs📖 us(Psalms127). This passage reminds us of how our hearts were stirred by God and understand the sinful things we were freed from⛓.
