The process behind this artwork was heavily focused on movement and emotion. I applied layers of acrylic paint with both brushes and palette knives, allowing the paint to blend organically and create texture. This method gave rise to unexpected shapes and contrasts, mimicking the unpredictability of emotion and life itself. The overlapping strokes convey a sense of chaos but also harmony, much like the rhythm of thought and feeling.

The white negative space in the background acts as a frame, pushing the intensity of the colours forward and providing moments of reflection within the vibrant chaos. This abstract piece is less about representing a specific scene or object, and more about evoking an emotional response, exploring the ways colour, form, and texture can provoke a visceral reaction in the observer.

Ultimately, this artwork is an exploration of colour as a language, expressing the inexpressible through abstraction, and inviting the viewer into a personal dialogue with its vibrant layers.
