New week, new EPC members! 🎬

We are delighted to welcome Anna Stylińska and Katarzyna Ślesicka of MY WAY Studio, Poland, to the EPC community. 🇵🇱

My Way Studio is a Warsaw-based boutique production company founded to produce and promote high-quality films with international potential. The company is committed to projects that capture the zeitgeist and seeks out unique, resolute voices that often lack representation on screen, with a weak spot for films blending comedy and drama, in the belief that humour can be a weapon of survival.

Their credits include the feature-length documentary Vika! by Agnieszka Zwiefka (a Polish-German-Finnish-Italian-Japanese co-production nominated for the Polish Film Awards), Abortion Dream Team (produced for Viaplay Sweden) and Home Movie (a Polish-French co-production supported by the Sundance Film Institute and the Chicken & Egg Programme).

They are currently developing several international co-productions, both documentary and fiction. 🎥

July kicks off with great news: a new member joins the EPC! We are happy to welcome Snezana van Houwelingen of This and That Productions, from Serbia. ✨

Snežana is a Serbian producer and co-founder of This and That Productions, an independent film and TV production company based in Belgrade, founded in 2008. The company develops and produces feature films, creative documentaries and high-end drama series, with a strong focus on author-driven projects, international co-productions and stories with artistic ambition and international audience potential.

Her credits include more than 20 feature films and documentaries, as well as over 120 episodes of high-end drama series. The company's productions have premiered at major international festivals, including Sundance, Toronto International Film Festival, Berlinale, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, CANNESERIES, IFFR, IIDFA, Hot Docs, and the Shanghai TV Festival, and have been distributed through leading broadcasters and platforms, including Netflix and HBO.

Yesterday, we were delighted to host a new EPC Zoom session dedicated to ARTE's cinema activities and European projects.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Rémi Burah, Director General of ARTE France Cinéma and President of ArteKino, together with Lena Elise Morel, Head of European Partnerships at ARTE.

The session offered members valuable insights into ARTE's latest developments, its approach to supporting European cinema, and the opportunities for collaborating with independent producers.

A warm thank you to Rémi and Lena for sharing their expertise and perspectives, and to all our members who joined the discussion, making it another engaging EPC exchange.
