They feel the squeeze. 🤲🏽

A day after France announced its support for the ICC’s request for warrants against Netanyahu, three major European countries announce they will recognize Palestine as a state.⁣

Not in some promised future after vague store are taken, but literally this month. We are witnessing the western world catch up to what the Global South has long acknowledged: Israel is a racist, terroristic pariah that has been empowered with impunity for too long.⁣

Now some may question if this all means anything. The ICC, the UN, western slaps on the wrist, etc. Those questions and skeptocism are valid. I don’t know what it all means myself especially as Palestinians are still being massacred while living under occupation ever day.⁣

But I do know one thing for sure. Israel spends billions of dollars every year on PR campaigns and squashing criticism. NOTHING Zionists care about more that what people think. They want to perpetually be seen as victims. AT MINIMUM if this doesn’t create tangible change, it will still bother the hell out of these people that the world sees them for who they are. And that warms my cold dead heart a little bit.

I’m not sharing this as evidence of a victory that will have immediate, tangible results.⁣

But I do think it’s a reminder that those who support Palestine are not actually a minority, even if it feels that way of the beast. And this is despite the most powerful city in the world threatening and ostracizing those who oppose.⁣

While people here are busy lecturing us about Democrats versus Republicans and who has more moral authority, this is a sobering reminder that both parties represent a specific brand of white supremacist capitalism that doesn’t put people’s best interests at heart.
