When the Mind Becomes a Prism.
Dispersion Bias is the way our mind takes a single reality, like white light, and breaks it into multiple perspectives, like a prism revealing colors.
This isn’t just a flaw. It’s a sign of our creativity.
Having many ideas, seeing many possibilities, it shows our mental agility. It’s the power to think in colors, not just in black and white.
But this gift also comes with a challenge: too many angles can lead to confusion, illusions, or fragmented thinking.
True clarity comes not from pretending to be objective, but from recognizing our inner prism.
We are always seeing the world through a lens, shaped by our culture, emotions, and past.
And that’s okay.
It’s not because an idea is biased that it’s wrong.
Often, it’s because it’s biased… that it’s human.
