The_11_collection with will be the third of the « The 11 Collection » published by L’atelier Risographique The idea for emerged from the meeting of two practices that, while rooted in different fields, share a common belief: creation gains meaning when it reveals the people who build.
On one side, a venture firm accustomed to working closely with founders, where human relationships form the foundation of trust. On the other, an independent publishing house that has long supported emerging photographers by giving them space for genuine artistic freedom.
Both approaches are guided by the same attention to individual journeys, to the inner qualities that drive action and make progress possible. Through years of open conversations, this shared outlook naturally became a point of connection.
From this convergence came the idea of a collection that brings forward the human forces behind entrepreneurship.

THE BOOK IS LEFT 4 COPIES and Eruption ( exposition at the at the moment ) is a pseudo-documentary project consisting of 40,000 hand-crafted red-winged bugs (known as soldier bugs in Ukraine and gendarmes in France), installed across three contexts — a room, the human body, and food. Emergence by the first number of The 11 Collection Je pars d’un constat simple : les photographes d’art évoluent souvent dans un cercle restreint, avec leurs codes, leurs réseaux, leurs références. Mon travail avec The 11 consiste à les en faire sortir volontairement.

L’idée est de créer une rencontre directe avec le monde de l’entrepreneuriat. Un monde très différent, mais extrêmement riche en tensions, en décisions, en contradictions, en potentiel narratif. Les entrepreneurs ne sont pas des sujets abstraits : ce sont des personnes qui agissent, qui prennent des risques, qui composent avec le réel tous les jours.

Je mets donc en relation un photographe et un entrepreneur. Ils se parlent. Sans objectif artistique prédéfini. Sans thème imposé. De cette conversation émerge une qualité humaine qui guide l’action de l’entrepreneur. C’est à partir de cette réalité vécue que le photographe travaille.

Ce déplacement est essentiel. Le photographe ne regarde plus son propre milieu. Il se confronte à un autre rythme, à d’autres contraintes, à une autre forme d’engagement. L’entrepreneuriat devient alors un terrain d’exploration inédit, plein de potentialités visuelles et humaines.

C’est dans cette optique que j’ai lancé toute une collection avec les fonds d’investissement Newfund qui m’a ouvert son réseau. Cette collection, The 11, ne cherche pas à esthétiser l’entrepreneuriat, ni à intellectualiser la photographie. Le projet crée un espace commun où deux mondes se rencontrent, se frottent, et produisent quelque chose de juste, ancré, concret.
C’est cette mise en relation qui m’intéresse : sortir chacun de sa sphère naturelle pour faire émerger de nouvelles manières de voir, de comprendre et d’agir. This edition is limited to just 250 copies
