Meet the 6 projects selected for First Cut+ Munich 2026!

This new edition of First Cut+, launched in collaboration with Filmfest München, brings together bold new voices from Cameroon, Brazil, Germany, Slovenia and beyond. Half of the selected projects are directed by women, highlighting the richness and diversity of emerging international cinema.

These selected teams will take part in online consultations before coming together in Munich for pitching and networking sessions. One project will also be awarded the Walker+Worm First Cut+ Award.
