Paris fireworks 2026: here's what you need to know 🎆
This year the fireworks fall on Monday July 13th, starting at 11pm. Mark it in your calendar now ⚠️

And if you're wondering where to watch, here are our top picks :

🥇 Trocadéro: the iconic view facing the Eiffel Tower. Stunning, but expect massive crowds. Get there early

🥈 Champ-de-Mars: more space, picnic vibes, very festive. Same advice : arrive well before 11pm

🥉 Pont de Bir-Hakeim: a clear view of the Eiffel Tower with less crowd than the two above

🌿 Parc des Buttes-Chaumont / Rue des Pyrénées: the local favourite. Open space, relaxed atmosphere, and a great view. Far from the chaos

🌊 Quais near Hôtel de Ville: a beautiful spot along the Seine with a festive atmosphere. A great option if you want to stay central

🚨 And be careful, as we mention it in the video, you do not always see clearly the Eiffel Tower from Montmartre. If you are at the Sacré-Cœur, walk towards Place du Tertre to catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower

Wether you bring card or cash to Paris is totally fine, but a few things to know before you go ✅
First: let your bank know you're traveling. Nothing worse than having your card blocked on day one because your bank flagged an "unusual transaction" from Paris 🇫🇷
Second: if you rely on American Express, bring a backup. Many restaurants, bakeries and smaller shops in Paris simply don't accept it. Visa or Mastercard will get you everywhere 💳
And keep a little cash on hand for markets, street food and smaller spots. 40 to 60€ in your wallet is plenty 💶
