Another brief passing through of Hamburg. This time a stopover after an 11 hour journey from Gothenburg, so managed to get out to eat vegeburgers (as one does) and grab a few photos before collapsing into bed.

Today is our last full day in Sweden. The super sunny weather prompted a visit to the islands of Styrso and Donso in the Gothenburg archipelago and lots of picture postcard photos ensued…

Today we headed out into the Stockholm archipelago on the public transport system, the Waxholmbolaget, finishing up at Grenadjarbryggan on the island of Rindo. A real unexpected treat on the way back was to find ourselves on the steam powered ferry Storskar, built in 1909 and in daily use!

We went for Lake Vanern but here are lovely river scenes from Västerås, out on a day trip from Uppsala.

I realise that I failed to answer the question I put.

We got a surprisingly good sleep on this somewhat ancient sleeper train!
