🚨 The killing of peaceful protesters has NO PLACE in a democracy.⁠

In the past three weeks, US federal agents have shot and killed two American citizens in Minneapolis. Renée Good, a 37-year-old mother, and Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old nurse.⁠

The Trump administration immediately labelled them “domestic terrorists” and claimed self-defence. Multiple videos contradict these accounts. This is part of a deeply troubling pattern. ⁠

Across the world, we are witnessing the machinery of disinformation weaponised to justify state violence, where official lies are amplified, evidence is dismissed, and accountability becomes impossible.⁠

We must recognise this moment for what it is: a slide toward authoritarianism that demands collective resistance. Across borders. Across movements. Now.⁠

Democracy requires truth. It requires accountability. It requires us.⁠
