Rock cave based on the "Music-making Hermit before his Rocky Abode" painting (1856-1858). From the German artist Carl Spitzweg (1808-1885).
Main rock shapes modeled in Maya then sculpted in ZBrush. Textured in Substance Painter. Trees built with Plant Factory. Main Render with V-Ray.
Background render with Vue. For the background, I built basic mountains in World Machine then applied some basic trees, water and post prod work.
