Embodied, sensory, raw, tense, enigmatic, and poetic, the object moves between breath and suffocation, echoing the multidisciplinary practice of Tiona Nekkia McClodden and her research themes: bodily vulnerability, social constraint, and survival mechanisms, particularly within Black and q***r contexts.
