I was young; hard-working, suit-wearing, ladder-climbing, 25-year-olds didn’t inspire me; outdoor people with dirty hair, tech jacket, a hiking pack with a big rope coiled on it, a climbing harness around the body, and carry a camera with a big lens did.
It’s still a long way to be that dedicated extreme photographer. But I was extremely thrilled when I got to this point in the alps, I was glad I had my camera with me, and I was so happy when the picture came out. I guess I still am, young.
