La Roque Gageac is one of France's most beautiful villages. It has a stunning position on the north bank of the Dordogne River and is backed by a steep hill.

La Roque-Gageac is truly a perfect picture postcard village. It is about 8km from the historic town of Sarlat, a two and a half hour drive from Bordeaux and around an hour drive from the town of Bergerac.

Tourists from all around the world have been visiting this village since it's addition to the list of the association "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France".
