Peceli Koro Kasami was born on 2 May 1944 and peacefully passed on to glory on 20 January 2026.
He hailed from Nokonoko Village, Ra, and belonged to the Tokatoka Nacokula, Mataqali Nacokula, Yavusa Nawaqavesi, Tikina Naroko, and the Vuvale Navilaca.
His traditional i Cavuti is Lewei Nawaqavesi Navilaca.

Peceli was born and raised in Nokonoko Village before moving to Draunivau Village, where he resided until his timely passing.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Livia Kariniu, who hails from Nausori, Nalawa, Ra.

He was a loving father to Osea Kasami, Nanise Vunisere, Makelesi Adivakarairua, Eloni Nadavelevu, and Tira Koro Kasami.

He is also survived by four grandchildren, Malakai Turagalailai Kasami, Meri Naibiri, Salanieta Soli, and Marika Uqe Kasami and three great-grandchildren, Alisi, Tomasi, and Daniel, who remain his living legacy.
