🌊 3-Day Water Safety Programme – Lawaki Village, Tikina of Namena, TailevuπŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

Over the past three days, we had the privilege of joining the Fiji National Sports Commission in delivering a community water safety programme at Lawaki Village, Tikina of Namena, Tailevu.

Participants enthusiastically learned essential water safety skills, including safe entries and exits, floating, controlled breathing, basic freestyle and backstroke techniques, water safety strokes, and rescue tows. Throughout the programme, they built confidence in the water while developing practical skills that could one day help save lives.

A huge vinaka vakalevu to the Fiji National Sports Commission, the people of Lawaki Village, and everyone who contributed to making this outreach programme a success. It was an honour to work alongside such an enthusiastic community, and we look forward to continuing our mission of promoting water safety and swimming education throughout Fiji.
