The module aims to foster discussion on the European digital strategy and the impact of digitalisation on the socio-economic relations between citizens. Participants explore the concept of digital innovation and how Europe is managing the transformation into the digital age, analysing actual challenges and future opportunities.

Lake is in the province of Eastern , in what many call the lake district. The lake is not just a lake basin, but a labyrinth formed by wide waters, with the world’s longest lake coastline (14.500 km long) and 13.710 islands. This is Finland’s largest , and it’s the fourth largest natural freshwater lake in Europe. Wall Street Journal listed it one of the five most beautiful lakes in the world in 2014. The Lake Saimaa offers great opportunities for outdoor activities (boating, swimming, canoeing), holidays and travel.
