Sameheads is an outsider’s space, proudly independent, and doing it since 2006 in a community–music–spirit, footing firm in punk – no sponsors.

Highly influential for Berlin’s scene, Sameheads have fostered numerous labels, parties, and collectives – Mannequin, Music From Memory, and Mechatronica to name three for the preparty session.

Leona Jacewska (formerly known as Charlie) is the prodigy of contemporary synthwave. Formally educated on piano, she conjures deep tones of EBM, electro, and early Italo tracings out of a three–piece hardware setup. You may have heard Leona at Unsound, Fusion, or Berghain.

The night’s other resident, Diamin does realtime world–building with records sourced from Latin America and European warehouses. Diamin’s potent dance floor dreams are truly unheard of, and not to be missed – unless you have eavesdropped at Bassiani, Mutant Radio or Tresor.

On top of all that, Diamin and Leona take interest in serving the common good. Mentoring, peer–to–peer exchanges, q***r collective collaborations, and advocating for more music via funding – let’s say that it doesn’t get more about it than that.

As the olive and the cherry, shaking and stirring it are the local madmaxmen Denzel, and Justus Arvelin.
