Another year, another exciting season for Ark Project ⚓️

Every summer, we tell ourselves we’ve seen it all — and every summer, we prove ourselves wrong.

This season was no different, with experiments ranging from sea yoga and regatta events to deeper collaborations, like the one with .fi 🚀

Although we wrapped up the season a bit earlier than usual, we’re already gearing up to be back in action next year!

A warm thank you to all the Ark hearties — we can’t wait to see you again! 🥂

One of the biggest insights we’ve gotten this season? 💡

Food really does matter on sea! 🤤

It all started when Matkatoimisto Aventura set up a big, fancy buffet on one of our cruises last summer. Everyone had such an amazing time that one thing became clear: great food makes a huge difference.

So we decided to test the theory by partnering up with Niska Helsinki 🍕, Fly Fusion 🥗, and Tommi's Kitchen 🍽️.

Guess what? More than half of our guests have opted for a gourmet add-on!

It's like a match made in heaven – being at sea and enjoying great food just naturally go together! 🤝

And guess what else? We still have a whole month of operations left, so the numbers will probably get even weightier.

So, whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a veteran foodie, give us a shot and come on an awesome adventure at sea with us! 😉

A voyage across the Baltic Sea for a great cause 🌊

Last week, we had the privilege of serving as the support and safety vessel for one incredible journey. 🏊

Patrik Kvikant dared to embark on a 90 km charity swim from Tallinn to Helsinki, completing it in just under three days. Despite the weather not being on our side, with constant and strong headwinds, he swam an astounding average of 17 hours per day. Just wow! 💯

With the help of Viisaasti vesillä, his goal was to raise awareness for children’s ability to swim — a vital skill that has been declining in Finland in recent years.

Let’s continue to work together to make our sea community better and safer for everyone! 🤝
