How do meaningful digital solutions come to life? Through collaboration. 🤝

A perfect example of this is our ongoing game development project. Together with Tara, a game production student at Sataedu and the EHEÄ project team, we are creating a music application designed to bring joy and engagement to individuals with complex needs.

The idea for this app originated from real-world needs. Music plays a vital role in everyday life, supporting emotional regulation, encouraging interaction, and promoting inclusion. The app's first real-world test took place at the Hovipaja Activity Centre for adults with intellectual disabilities, where it received a warm and enthusiastic welcome. The app sparked interest, encouraged participation, and brought people together to enjoy music. 💜🎶🎵

This is co-development in its truest form: ideas are generated from genuine needs, tested in real environments, and refined collaboratively to ensure they effectively support daily life.

Tara, our student collaborator, shares her thoughts:
