Today, we had an important discussion with Sputnik Africa on World TB Day 2026, reflecting on this year’s theme which emphasizes the need to actively engage all key stakeholders and communities. The conversation highlighted critical issues surrounding why tuberculosis continues to claim many lives, underscoring the urgent need for sustained and adequate resources through both donor support and strengthened domestic financing to ensure long-term sustainability.
