Celebrating Excellence at the Reinsurance Directorate

This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to financial resilience, operational excellence, and market leadership.

Together, we continue to build a stronger, more sustainable future.

Today, we had the privilege of hosting a delegation from South Africa- GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) and the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA-Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority ). The team is on a business tour visiting various insurance companies in Ethiopia for an enriching experience exchange.

We had the opportunity to walk them through Oromia Insurance (OIC) diverse offerings, unpack the pressing challenges facing Ethiopia’s insurance industry, and explore actionable ways to unlock the vast opportunities ahead.

The session also opened doors for our OIC team to gain valuable insights into one of Africa’s most advanced insurance markets – South Africa. A true two-way learning moment!
