On the occasion of , Eshet Children and Youth Development Organization (ECYDO) proudly hosted a powerful experience-sharing session with Kinderhiltswerk Global Care Ethiopia in Adama to highlight the impact of safe spaces and menstrual health interventions implemented through the 💜

The session brought together project managers, finance staff, social workers, project officers, the ECYDO Project Coordinator, and the Principal of Hiddase Primary School for meaningful dialogue and learning 🤝

ECYDO shared its ongoing work in empowering adolescent girls through:
🌸 Safe Spaces
🩸 Menstrual Health & Hygiene Management (MHM)
📚 Life Skills Training
💪 Psychosocial Support
👧 Girls’ Leadership & Empowerment

Participants also visited the girls’ safe space and observed creative handicraft activities led by adolescent girls, showcasing how these spaces are restoring confidence, dignity, participation, and hope ✨

Today, we reaffirm that menstruation should never be a barrier to education, leadership, safety, or opportunity.
