In a guest post at ICT-ET's LinkedIn page Solomon Tedla outlines how a portion of the hard currency stream from GERD can be dedicated to a National Electrification Fund and unlock $2B USD that can be used to close most of the access gap within a single decade and provide solar access to 7-10 Million households, catalyze industrialization, and agro-mechanization at scale by linking the fund to local manufacturers to expand domestic production of home systems, generators(including for irrigation), lanterns, and more.
