Sobremesa brings together an exceptional variety of products that represent the best of contemporary design. Each object on display not only has a unique functionality but also tells a story, has a purpose, and carries a touch of creativity that turns it into something more than just a simple table item.

We want to thank all the collaborating designers who made this exhibition possible, from emerging talents to the most established names. Each piece reflects a personal vision while also contributing to a collective effort to celebrate the sobremesa tradition through design.

A Design in the Right Place.
A Collaborative Experience at Boisbuchet



We recently had the opportunity to lead a workshop with master's students from EASD valencia at Boisbuchet, where we worked together to create a final project that showcased collaboration and creativity.
Over three days, we identified a need and designed a solution to enhance the summer program.
During our visit to the facilities, we discovered the Japanese house and learned about the traditional "takamakura" headrest used on tatami mats. We observed that attendees at Boisbuchet's movie nights used makeshift seating arrangements, which inspired us to design a curved and modular headrest for comfort.
By combining the Japanese design inspiration with our observations, we created a project that aims to improve the attendee experience.
