🚅 In these weeks, Vaishnavi is experiencing Dutch life from a new perspective: same country, different city, new research environment.

🤝 Thanks to the collaboration between Dr. Jan Wijnholds from Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum - LUMC and Dr. Zohreh Hosseizadeh from Radboudumc Vaishnavi is currently undertaking a secondment in Nijmegen.

👇 Here below her impressions of the first weeks there:
"The secondment in Nijmegen has been proceeding well to date, and I appreciate the familiarity of working in another Dutch city. The city is larger and very beautiful, which has made settling in straightforward and pleasant. The lab members have all been kind and welcoming, particularly Yao, which has contributed to a very positive start."

💯 From adapting to a new city to building new collaborations, experiences like these show how international research training goes far beyond the bench.

👁️ Lately Ceren spent some weeks in Istanbul at where she had the chance to analyze her project from a different point of view.

💻👩‍🔬The computational approach with all its modelling and simulations offered Ceren a new perspective and the results will be integrated within her wet lab work.
