Grateful for the journey, even the tough parts 💔

After competing in France, I was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia and a small tear in my Psoas. Thankfully, nothing too serious, but still something that needed attention. I was advised to get surgery to prevent it from getting worse.

Not gonna lie, this news really sucked. I was finally starting to feel strong again, finally back to competition and then forced to pause again, it hurts.

But that’s life and the more you go through, the stronger you get 💪🏼

The surgery was about a month ago and I’m feeling a lot better. Healing well, getting stronger every day, and hoping to be back on the water sometime in July 🙏🏼

The goal is to compete again towards the end of the year. That’s the focus, and I’m working on it everyday!

I will keep you guys updated!
