Supported Employment for Young Adults with Mental Health Issues in Norway – A Good Practice Example from the Lost Millennials Project 23/10/2023

🌟 Innovative Solutions for NEETs: Lessons from Norway Mental health challenges can be a major barrier to young adults seeking employment or training - a concern shared across the European Union.

Today we turn our attention to Norway, where a remarkable practice is having a major impact on NEETs. This innovative approach, which is part of the Lost Millennials Project, shows how young people with mental health problems can be better supported on their path to work.

In Norway, the number of NEETs is relatively low, but the challenges they face remain
significant, especially when it comes to mental health. The Norwegian government has launched a pioneering initiative, Supported Employment for Young People (IPS Ung ), which focuses on young adults with mental health problems and drug addiction and their pathway into employment.
Learn how effective Supported Employment Youth is in helping young adults with mental health problems find and keep jobs.

Happening now…

At the first International Event of Let her in , our groundbreaking project has been officially presented to our members. 🌍✨

We couldn't be more thrilled to share our vision for the future, with a special focus on the Social Hub: ENTER Ambassadors.

To be more specific…

🌐 The 4th Result of our project centers on the creation of a dynamic Digital Hub. Its mission? To bridge the gap between young NEETs and the broader market. 🚀 Through webinars and partnerships, we aim to foster and amplify the burgeoning creative and entrepreneurial spirit within our community.

🤝 Our Social Entrepreneurial Digital Hub is set to be a vibrant space for connection, communication, engagement, and collaboration. It will serve as a vital link between young NEETs and the world of technology and social entrepreneurship. 📲💼

As the European Commission aptly puts it, "Digital Innovation Hubs are putting digital technology to work on real-world problems." 🌐💡

Our partnership's goal is clear: to design a Hub equipped with tailored actions and tools to support our webinar participants and the wider youth network of partners, catalyzing the impact of our project results. 🌱💪

While we may not be able to create a fully functional Hub with all the bells and whistles like mentoring services, co-working spaces, or a comprehensive educational platform, we're committed to offering:

1️⃣ Access to the 3rd Result - an educational e-learning platform.
2️⃣ Mentoring to empower our webinar participants on their journey to becoming Ambassadors.
3️⃣Networking opportunities, connecting our Ambassadors with fellow young enthusiasts from the creative, cultural, and social sectors.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey!

Together, we're making a difference. 🌟🚀
