This is Jack… and he needs a home…

He was removed from a very abusive situation a year ago, when he was only 2 months old, together with 2 siblings, and brought to me to be fostered.

The three of them were emotionally traumatised to different degrees when they arrived… very shy, not wanting to be touched, incredibly scared. Jack was missing the tip of his tongue and it is now apparent his lower jaw was damaged too and there are teeth missing (adult teeth never came through)

When he was 3 months old, and vaccinated, Jack went to specialised foster to be emotionally rehabilitated.

11 months later, he is friendly, goofy, lots of fun, and loud! He is ready to go to his permanent home. He has outgrown his loving foster home and we feel he is ready to take on the challenge of moving homes.

He is good with other dogs, shy with strangers, but now allows strokes by foster carer and is venturing into the house! Hasn’t lived with children or cats.

Due to his size, he has not yet been neutered.

Present foster has taken him as far as she can, and he needs to find a new situation pretty fast.

Can you help? Do you know someone that might be able to help?

If you would like further information, please feel free to meaaage me here.

He is currently in Mijas, Málaga.

Please, please, please… if you want a puppy, get one from a rescue association. sTOP buying “ special breed” puppies from a breeder. This is what is happening to a lot of the moms. How can you live with that? 😱😢

Fostering puppies is so rewarding…. specially when you foster for associations that take the time to send you photos after the puppies have left. 🥰

Because just sending them out into thin ether, not knowing what happens to them next is what makes fostering so hard…

Today I received another update… a puppy that was here in February. So good to see what he looks like now!

Gorgeous Bruiser, now Drogo, one of Linda’s puppies. ❤️❤️❤️
